We're currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II/Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing scenarios for our customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that shape the future of cloud services.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and coaches, gaining hands-on experience in creating and implementing code for products, services, or features. You'll also be responsible for reviewing code and helping to review code of others to ensure it meets quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Learns to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature reusing code as applicable.
- Writes and learns to create code that is extensible and maintainable.
- Learns about and applies diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Applies coding patterns and best practices to write code.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Security Clearance Requirements
- Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
Compensation and Benefits
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $98,300 - $193,200 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, Microsoft offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
