Interventional Radiology Technologist Position

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at RTG Medical-Allied. This is a travel opportunity that requires a strong background in radiology and excellent patient care skills.
Job Summary:This position involves working as a radiology technologist in an interventional radiology setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to capture high-quality images.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong background in radiology and excellent patient care skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
This is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts. The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
