About the Job

This is a highly technical role that requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology and interventional procedures. As a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist Specialist, you will assist physicians with cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, including peripheral and coronary angioplasty, stents, rotablators, and laser therapy.

You will work closely with the medical team to deliver high-quality patient care and adhere to strict safety protocols. This includes proper use of radiation protection, sterile techniques, and infection control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform interventional and therapeutic cardiac or electrophysiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and cine modalities.
  • Recommend various radiological techniques to maximize best visualization of patient's cardiac anatomy.
  • Assist physicians with sterile technique and provide direct assistance during diagnostic or special procedures.
  • Follow radiation safety standards and conduct all imaging procedures accordingly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program and a valid ARRT-R certification. You must also have at least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably with interventional experience. In addition, you will need a BLS and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
