As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of nursing practice.
About the RoleIn this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and colleagues to provide comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each individual. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing evidence-based care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions throughout the care continuum.
- You will also provide education and guidance to staff members on best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in nursing care.
- With your expertise and passion for improving patient outcomes, you will contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and educational programs that enhance the quality of care provided in our IMCU.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background in nursing, with a focus on critical care or intermediate care. Your experience working with patients with complex medical conditions, including cardiovascular and neurological disorders, is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, along with current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New Hampshire or a compact state license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are also required, with opportunities to obtain additional specialized certifications such as PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR.
