  • Kitchen Operations: Maintain smooth kitchen operations by effectively communicating with the team and executing tasks efficiently.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to management.
  • Cleanliness: Keep work area neat and clean at all times, performing light cleaning duties, including sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant. Experience working with pizza is preferred.
  • Cooking Techniques: Strong understanding of cooking techniques and ingredient usage.
  • Recipe Following: Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
  • Kitchen Equipment: Knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Stress Management: Ability to handle stressful situations, while working as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/carry items up to 40 lbs. and push/pull items up to 75 lbs. Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead.
  • Culinary Tools: Must be able to utilize culinary tools (knives, commercial equipment, etc.) and taste/smell.
  • Food Safety Certification: ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification is a plus.
