Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer/Applied Physics Researcher to join our team at SRI International in Princeton, NJ. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on R&D projects to realize proof-of-concept demonstrations for government and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and test advanced prototype systems based on quantum sensor technology
  • Contribute to the development of novel materials, mixed signal integrated circuits, and optical, quantum, radar, and imaging systems
  • Collaborate with senior group members to guide individual contributions
  • Participate in field testing and measurement, with limited travel required

Requirements
  • BS with 1+ years experience or MS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics, or other similar disciplines
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Skills
  • Competence in a lab with test/measurement equipment
  • Programming skills in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or COMSOL
  • Multi-sensor integration and control; digital and analog signal processing and filtering
  • Embedded systems experience
  • Technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles
