Academic Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Career Counselor to join our team at Education & Training Resources LLC. As a Career Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and career development of our students.

• Student Counseling and Support
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Assess students' strengths, weaknesses, and interests to develop personalized career plans.
• Program Development and Implementation
  • Design and implement career development programs to meet the needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and counseling sessions.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
• Community Outreach and Partnerships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to provide students with opportunities for internships, job shadowing, and career advancement.
  • Collaborate with community partners to design and deliver career development programs.

• Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, education, social work).
  • At least one year of experience in counseling or a related field.
• Skills and Competencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and build rapport with students.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software and databases.
