Job Summary

The Corrugate Tech is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our corrugate yard by towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts as they fill throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial lift and/or tugger to assist in loading or moving materials for yardage
  • Bale cardboard, run a trash compactor, and operate a tow tractor to maintain production efficiency
  • Use computer, read work order, or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved
  • Load materials and/or buggies into trailers and/or trucks
  • Install strapping or chains to prevent shifting or damage while in transit
  • Print necessary labels and manifests
  • Transport buggies from work sites to designated areas
  • Load and unload full or empty buggies
  • Use computer to maintain a current list of available buggies
  • Perform janitorial duties such as emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, and scrubbing floors

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required and on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • One (1) year of similar work experience preferred
