Job Overview

The Sales Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving sales initiatives for Rotork Fairchild products. Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, this position is tasked with cultivating and sustaining customer relationships across various sectors including End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all sales activities related to Chemical, Process, and Industrial (CPI) opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.
  • Effectively manage local channel partners, including Manufacturer's Representatives and Distributors, to enhance channel performance.
  • Monitor and pursue project sales, as well as service and aftermarket sales with existing clientele.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, collaborating with the Factory Service Group as necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting and utilize Rotork Customer Engagement (CRM) to document and share sales activities.
  • Stay informed about competitive dynamics and the actions of industry competitors.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and fellow Area Sales Managers to formulate a sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Deliver regular business forecasts for all products and services.
  • Generate monthly sales reports in conjunction with the regional sales manager to accurately project business forecasts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing sales techniques for capital projects, including interactions with resellers and end-users.
  • Proficient in cold calling end-user customers.
  • Possess an engineering or similar technical degree.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality products to both internal and external customers.
  • Exhibit strong diplomatic skills and tact in interactions with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in selling engineered industrial automation products or process equipment.
  • Exhibits a high degree of self-motivation, independence, and self-reliance.
  • Knowledgeable about the Chemical Industry, Mining, and Automated Industrial Processes.
