**Job Summary:**
The Respiratory Care Assistant (RCA) is a critical member of our healthcare team, working under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner (RCP). The RCA will be responsible for performing a range of respiratory care procedures, including oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, manual resuscitation, and patient reporting.

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Competently perform respiratory care procedures, including oxygen administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, and small volume nebulizer therapy
• Assist licensed respiratory care practitioners with patient care and treatment
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies

**Requirements:**
• Enrolled in a recognized Respiratory Care Program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• College Courses in Respiratory Therapy Required
• Respiratory Care Assistant Certification Required
• Basic Life Support Certification Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification Required

**Work Schedule:**
• 7:00pm-7:00am, with flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
• As Needed weekend requirements
