Staff Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity

TherapySouth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of specialists and be mentored in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient function and alleviate pain.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments and instruct patients and their families on continued care at home.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current licensure from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
  • Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
