Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tractor Technician to join our team at J.B. Hunt. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our fleet of tractors and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other equipment
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet maintenance deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in tractor maintenance and repair
  • A/C Certification and DOT-certified in FHWA Inspections and Air Brakes
  • Basic tools required; toolbox purchase program available for employees without tools
