Job Summary:

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role will involve coordinating and directing subcontractors, procuring materials and equipment, and overseeing all safety aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Procure materials and equipment as needed
  • Oversee all safety aspects of the project, including ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal departments, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Manage production and logistics to meet project deadlines
  • Work closely with city officials to coordinate inspections and other site work
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on concrete and tilt projects
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings, plans, and other specifications
  • Extensive knowledge of concrete and concrete tilt projects
  • Solid understanding of subcontractor scopes of work
  • Previous supervisory experience managing 20+ individuals
  • Comfortable on a computer with basic Microsoft programs (i.e. word, outlook, excel)
  • Average job size of $30M
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal building codes
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language (Spanish is a plus)
  • Willingness to represent the company and its core values
  • SWPPP certified
  • Ability to direct an on-site team of Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, Subcontractors, etc.
  • Willing to relocate locally on an as needed basis per project requirements
Special Requirements:

Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to and at all times during employment.
