Job Summary: We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nursing Assistant Trainee. In this role, you'll assist clients with personal care needs, work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and be part of a dynamic team that promotes independence and client rights.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, and other personal care needs.
  • Provide psychosocial support and deliver age-appropriate care to meet physical, psychological, and restorative needs.
  • Communicate changes in client condition and care-related concerns to a licensed nurse.
  • Document client care when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver's license.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on location and experience.
