Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our assembly team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a team environment, and have a strong aptitude for following instructions and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and following manufacturer's instructions
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- High school degree, diploma, or GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments
- Aptitude to take orders and execute them efficiently
- Strong basic math skills
- Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task
- Good finger and hand dexterity
- Basic knowledge in blueprints reading and torque values
- Previous experience working within a highly technical environment with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly
Moderate to heavy physical effort required to perform the basis essentials of the job. Frequently required to bend and stoop.
