Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our assembly team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a team environment, and have a strong aptitude for following instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
  • Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and following manufacturer's instructions
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements:
  • High school degree, diploma, or GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments
  • Aptitude to take orders and execute them efficiently
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Good finger and hand dexterity
  • Basic knowledge in blueprints reading and torque values
  • Previous experience working within a highly technical environment with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly
Physical Activity:

Moderate to heavy physical effort required to perform the basis essentials of the job. Frequently required to bend and stoop.
