Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our linens and clothing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing and drying machines, to ensure efficient and effective processing of linens and clothing.
  • Load and unload laundry from machines, and monitor feeder information to ensure proper operation.
  • Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications, and monitor the effectiveness of cleaning agents.
  • Pre-sort and separate linen by classification, and transfer to work stations for processing.
  • Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, and other linens, and separate out laundry requiring mending or special stain removal.
  • Clean empty hampers, and stock linen room with cleaned product.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • None required, laundry experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as safety labels and instructions.
Working Conditions

The hotel functions seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day. All employees, both management and hourly, must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift as business demands.
