Job Overview

Kim-Tam Trucking USA is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team as a Tandem Driver on a Regional Flatbed Route. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tandem tractor-trailer combination on a regional route
  • Transport goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
  • Load and unload cargo, using proper load securement techniques
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of commercial driving experience with a Class A CDL
  • 6 months to 1 year of flatbed/conestoga experience (strong asset)
  • Steel, heavy haul, or oversized freight experience (strong asset)
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Acceptable personal and commercial abstracts
  • Knowledge of load securement techniques and FMCSA regulations
