About the Role

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking an exceptional Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at CHI St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions, including scoliosis, dislocations, and fractures, as well as damage to tendons, muscles, and ligaments.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with patients to determine treatment options and develop personalized care plans.
  • Perform surgical procedures to repair, salvage, or replace bones and joints, reconnect nerves, and improve musculoskeletal health.
  • Collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Record patient data and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer general and local anesthetics when necessary.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
  • Four to seven years of internship and residency training in orthopedic surgery.
  • A valid and active medical license issued by the State of Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Certification by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in orthopedic surgery and/or a subspecialty.
Compensation

The estimated hourly salary for this role is $302.83, based on industry standards and market research.
