Position Overview

The Patrick Dealer Group is currently in search of a dedicated Automotive Mechanic/Technician for our Cadillac service center. This role is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with the Automobile Mechanics Local 701.

Compensation and Benefits:

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a one-year certificate program from a technical institution; or three to six months of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Automotive Repair
  • Expertise in Automotive Diagnostics
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Valid driving record
  • Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing repair orders as assigned.
  • Conducting test drives and assessing vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Providing estimates for time required for additional repairs.
  • Performing warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive systems effectively.
  • Completing work as detailed on repair orders with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections.
