Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our team in Longmeadow, MA. As a Pre-K Teacher - ASL Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to Pre-K students, using American Sign Language (ASL) to effectively communicate with deaf or hard of hearing students, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Pre-K students.
  • Utilize ASL to facilitate communication and promote inclusivity in the classroom.
  • Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student growth and development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to enhance student development and achieve educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Valid state teaching certification.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Experience working with young children, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing, is preferred.
