About the Role

At The Crossroads Center, we are seeking a highly qualified Substance Abuse Therapist to provide essential therapeutic support to individuals dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions and lead engaging group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Coordinate seamless discharge planning to support clients' smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to advocate for holistic, integrated care.
  • Offer case management services to enhance overall client well-being.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is preferred.
  • An active LPC, LSW, LPCC, or LISW license is required.
  • Experience providing therapy services to diverse populations is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards is crucial.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Keyboard data entry is also required.
