Certification Requirements
  • ARRT certification is mandatory within one year of completing the educational program (exemption applies for employees hired before 1984).
  • ARRT certification is preferred.
  • ARRT (CT) certification is also preferred.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Candidates must possess the necessary credentials and licensing for the state of New Mexico.
Position Overview
  • Radiographer - Candidates must adhere to a 75-mile straight-line radius rule (not based on driving distance) - Local travelers are not accepted.
  • It is essential to submit candidates who are aware of their application to our facility and to refrain from allowing candidates to contact the facility directly.
  • Time-off requests must be communicated at the time of submission for consideration; requests made after acceptance will not be approved.
  • When submitting candidates, include a resume along with a completed skills checklist or competency assessment.
  • This is a 13-week assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of current experience.
  • Candidates must have successfully completed at least one previous 13-week travel assignment.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of current experience is required.
  • Successful completion of at least one previous 13-week travel assignment is mandatory.
Work Schedule
  • Shifts: Nights/Weekends - Friday day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM.
  • Saturday and Sunday shifts are overnight from 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • Shifts may vary to meet departmental staffing needs.
  • On-call duties, including weekends and holidays, may be necessary.
  • Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius of their assigned location.
Unit Specific Information
  • Traveling pairs may not have the same schedules or shifts.
Additional Information
  • Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months to be eligible for a travel position.
  • Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius of their assigned location.
  • State tax will be passed through to your agency and reflected on your invoice, with payment to be made to the state of New Mexico.
