Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Advisor to join our team at CooperRiis, a therapeutic healing community in Asheville.

Job Summary:

The Residential Advisor will provide relationship-oriented coaching and support to residents, ensuring their health and safety, and facilitating their participation in recreational, social, and cultural activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and support to residents to attain their goals
  • Assure the health and safety of residents and respond to concerns
  • Participate in and encourage participation in activities
  • Facilitate social experiences for residents
  • Support residents with room cleaning and common area maintenance
  • Transport residents to appointments as needed
  • Be a first responder for on-call services
  • Document resident information

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience working with individuals with mental illness
  • 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
