Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team at Integrity Placement Group. As a key member of our dental team, you will work closely with our Dentist to provide exceptional patient care and meet the oral health needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient screening procedures, including assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting, and taking blood pressure and pulse.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as needed.
  • Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth.
  • Apply preventive materials to the teeth, such as sealants and fluorides.
  • Teach patients effective oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, including tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
  • Counsel patients on the importance of good nutrition and its impact on oral health.
  • Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth used by dentists to evaluate patient treatment needs) and perform documentation.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in Florida.
  • Strong understanding of principles, theories, and practices of dentistry.
  • New graduates will be considered.
