About the Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our critical work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit development, preferably in social justice or human rights initiatives, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our development team to implement outreach and stewardship programs, respond to donor inquiries, and maintain accurate records. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Deputy Director of Development and Executive Director to develop and execute fundraising strategies, including campaigns, mailings, and special events.
