Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and notices.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal statutes, case law, and relevant articles.
  • Maintain and update the case management system to ensure accuracy.
  • Attend court sessions and client meetings as required.

Daily Tasks:
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams for efficient case management.
  • Identify legal matters that necessitate further examination.
  • Implement a robust follow-up system to meet critical deadlines for legal filings.
  • Manage a diverse caseload with precision and attention to detail.
  • Participate in hearings, settlement discussions, and other legal proceedings as needed.
  • Review and refine casework prepared by support staff.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited institution
  • Active membership in the New Jersey Bar, with additional state admissions considered a plus
  • Proficient in litigation processes including drafting and discovery
  • Familiarity with case management systems preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging positively with clients and colleagues
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Word
