Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Avamere at Pacific Ridge East. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals that are appealing and meet established portion control procedures.
  • Inspect diet trays and work with the facility's dietitian to process diet changes.
  • Coordinate food service with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure that food and supplies are readily available for the next meal.
  • Assist in serving meals as needed and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility preferred.
  • Must have a Food Handler's Card.
  • Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
  • Knowledge of food preparation procedures and ability to maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
