Editorial Director

The Editorial Director is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of editorial strategies for the Numismatics Community's online, digital, and print channels. This role requires a highly detail-oriented and organized professional who can develop a deep understanding of the numismatic industry and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced, news-driven environment.

• Develop and implement editorial strategies to drive engagement and revenue growth across all channels.
• Manage a team of freelance editors and writers, assigning and editing content for publication.
• Collaborate with the Community's other editorial team members to ensure consistency and quality across all publications.
• Oversee the development and implementation of annual Coin of the Year awards, including communication with the nomination committee and related publicity.
• Execute budgetary discipline, ensuring brand spending is aligned with established budget.
• Communicate with readers, serving as the voice of the publication and responding to inquiries and suggestions.

• BS/BA in Communications, English, or other relevant degree.
• Minimum of five years' experience editing, with a strong background in the numismatic industry.
• Proficient with use of AP style, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience using HubSpot and Google Analytics a plus.
• Interest in coin or paper money collecting, as well as history in general, a plus.
