Job Description

We are a family-owned, heavy civil construction company that self-performs concrete work, underground utilities, and roadway/dirt work. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a cohesive culture that promotes a team-first philosophy.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
  • Develop and implement operational controls to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor and manage field production to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the company.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction projects or a combination of education and experience necessary to meet the job requirements.
  • Current driver's license and insurable motor vehicle record.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction projects.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision plans, drawings, and models.
  • Knowledge of street and highway traffic rules and regulations, and safety precautions to be observed in working on or near highways.
  • Ability to detect unsafe or hazardous conditions of equipment and work environment, and knowledge of safety standards.
