Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant - Telemetry to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist professional nursing personnel in providing quality patient care by performing tasks involving direct and indirect patient care.
  • Perform basic technical skills, including CPR, taking and recording vital signs, and administering treatments as directed by a physician or nurse.
  • Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, mouth and skin care, grooming, and toileting assistance.
  • Document relevant patient care information and provide clerical support to the unit.
Requirements
  • Accredited Program Required: Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care facility.
  • Graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to lift patient handling no greater than 35 lbs. without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices. Fine motor skills are required to grasp and control medical equipment and perform precise procedures. The ability to move around the area with frequent sitting is also required.
