  • Collaborate with families, team members, and supervisors to ensure open and respectful communication.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to established guidelines and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of children's anecdotal records and child's developmental needs.
  • Participate in lesson plan review, team meetings, and learning environment communication sessions.
  • Attend and participate in professional development, meetings, and conferences.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a child care setting or related field.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with families and other professionals.
  • Knowledge of classroom activities and teaching methods, with a genuine interest in children and respect for their individuality.
  • Pediatric First Aid/CPR AED certifications and active NJCCIS registry within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience working in an early childhood setting.
  • Continuing education to receive an Associate Degree in early childhood or related field.
  • Child Development Associate or Child Care Professional Certificate in early childhood or related field.
