Physics Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Physics Professor to join our faculty at Tacoma Community College. As a Physics Professor, you will be responsible for teaching introductory physics courses and contributing to the development of our physics program.
Responsibilities- Prepare and teach introductory algebra-based and/or calculus-based physics courses.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of our physics program.
- Masters degree in Physics or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience teaching college-level physics courses.
- Commitment to establishing and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
