Job Summary
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled RN-II Shift Supervisor to provide exceptional nursing care and leadership to our patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating services on assigned shifts, communicating clinical and administrative issues to nursing administration, and evaluating, supervising, and documenting the performance of staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate services on assigned shifts to ensure high-quality patient care
- Communicate clinical and administrative issues to nursing administration
- Evaluate, supervise, and document the performance of staff
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
- Must be an RN-II with a strong background in nursing care and leadership
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care utilizing knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric, and physical disorders
- Must have experience or ability to delegate, supervise, evaluate, and problem-solve
- Must be registered nursing licensure or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Psychiatric Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution or higher education
- Bi-lingual Spanish and English
