Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering building materials to our dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites.
  • Pre and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett, and verify entire content loads prior to leaving the manufacturing facility or job site.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to our customers, including communicating with them regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Safety and Compliance: Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines and follow all safety procedures for transporting goods.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Experience: 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable).
  • Clean Driving Record: Clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
