North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Central Staffing Coordinator - Nurse Admin to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring optimal staffing levels across the hospital system to maintain high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various inpatient nursing departments and their managers to analyze staffing needs and manage schedules.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient allocation of resources and meet patient care demands.
  • Coordinate and ensure accurate and timely entry of staffing data for all inpatient units.
  • Analyze staffing patterns, forecast needs, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize staffing levels.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3 years' medical/hospital or other relevant experience.
  • Data entry/organization, record keeping, staffing or scheduling related field.
  • Must have knowledge of and demonstrate excellence in computer skills such as Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
  • Must have knowledge of staff roles and functions.
  • Must be flexible to meet the multi-dynamic needs of the organization.
Working Relationships:
  • Nursing personnel: work assignments, communication with staff on schedules, assist with staffing coverage.
  • Hospital personnel: must have proficiency in staffing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Financial Responsibility:

Payroll and other budgeted items.
