About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our healthcare team at U.S. Medical Staffing, Inc. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can provide high-quality patient care under the direction of our professional staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct care to patients, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, and other essential activities.
  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients, promoting a sense of comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), ensuring their independence and dignity.
  • Turn and move patients safely, using proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
  • Groom patients by brushing their hair, teeth, shaving them, and other personal care tasks.
  • Feed patients and document their food and liquid intake, monitoring their nutritional needs.
  • Check vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate, and document any changes or concerns.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
  • CNA Certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or related fields.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare protocols.
  • Ability to work well in teams, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
