Automotive Mechanic Position

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Sullivan Tire & Auto Service.

Job Description:

Sullivan Tire & Auto Service, a leading tire and automotive service provider with over 67 years of experience, offers an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Mechanic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and services while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger and light truck tires efficiently.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct thorough vehicle safety inspections and document findings accurately.
• Diagnostics and repairs of vehicles encompassing maintenance, brake, steering, suspension, heating, and cooling systems, alignment, and tune-ups using specialized tools, equipment, and software.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates for customer vehicles.
• Collaborate with store management to achieve productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and sales staff about repair needs and value.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical degree is highly valued.
• At least one year of experience with ASE certifications is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
