Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate OBGYN Midwife to join our team at AdventHealth Waterman. As a key member of our Women's Health department, you will provide exceptional care to our patients, delivering high-quality prenatal, labor, and postpartum services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage the care of pregnant and postpartum women, including triage and labor & delivery patients
  • Perform midwifery duties, including labor and delivery care, postpartum care, and newborn care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating diagnostic tests and lab values
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as needed
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with Midwifery Certification
  • 1-3 years of experience as a midwife in a hospital setting
  • 1-3 years of experience as a midwife in an outpatient setting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an RN, including Labor and Delivery in a high-risk center
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • DEA licensure (preferred but not required)
