Cylinder Cure Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cylinder Cure Operator to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for curing extruded tubes, performing quality checks, and delivering mandrels to/from work stations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tubes to specified length
  • Deliver stock of extruded tubes
  • Load stock in hotbox
  • Spray mandrels with release agent
  • Load/unload mandrels on/off breaker/wrapper
  • Load uncured tubes on mandrels
  • Unload cured tubes off mandrels
  • Wrap/unwrap tubes on mandrels
  • Place cured tubes on staging stock trucks
  • Perform quality checks on cured tubes
  • Record quality checks
  • Inspect ID/OD on each cured tube
  • Load/unload mandrels onto autoclave carts
  • Operate autoclaves
  • Load/unload mandrels onto autoclave carts
  • Operate wrapper/breaker
  • Operate Autoclaves
  • Operate mandrel cleaning lathe
  • Stripe color code on ID of cured tubes
  • Separate tubes on shipping trucks
  • Deliver cured tubes on shipping trucks
  • Prepare identification tickets for cured tubes
  • Get supplies from storeroom
Requirements:
  • This position starts at $22.74 and is eligible to reach top pay by step progression increases
