About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Butler America. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-frequency radio frequency systems and circuitry for various applications.

Job Description

  • Design and develop radio frequency systems and circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications
  • Perform hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test
  • Develop RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment
  • Conduct link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources
  • Develop and allocate RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements
  • Identify and track RF technical performance measurements
  • Perform RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis
  • Support Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 9 years of experience as an RF Engineer
  • Experience in RF circuit design and RF PCB design up to 18 GHz
  • Proficiency in ADS or AWR Microwave Office
  • Desired skills include RF architecture experience, experience in SystemVue or AWR VSS, experience in full-wave simulation/analysis (HFSS or CST), experience with RF test equipment and RF hardware verification, RF Probe Station Experience, and experience with RF production support

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 per year, based on industry standards and your level of experience. This compensation package reflects the value we place on your skills and expertise.
