Job Title: Laundry Technician

Work Hours: 5:00am-1:00pm

The Laundry Technician plays a crucial role in overseeing the laundry services, ensuring that all linens and garments are thoroughly cleaned, dried, pressed, folded, and organized in their respective locations on a daily basis. This position also involves maintaining a hygienic laundry environment and equipment while complying with all applicable regulations and organizational policies.

• Assumes complete accountability for laundry operations.
• Collects, categorizes, counts, and weighs soiled textiles, linens, clothing, and other items.
• Folds, organizes, hangs, and distributes freshly laundered items as instructed.
• Handles and segregates contaminated linens separately for appropriate sanitation.
• Employs disinfectants and bleaching agents as necessary.
• Utilizes various cleaning agents and solutions in accordance with safety protocols.
• Promptly reports any supply needs and equipment malfunctions.
• Keeps the laundry area tidy and performs routine maintenance on equipment.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to colleagues, clients, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a comparable position is preferred.
