Physical Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
This full-time position involves providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to seniors in their homes, with a focus on community-based care.
As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care to clients, enabling them to receive the medical attention required to remain at home.
Responsibilities:
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility assessments, transfer status, and balance testing.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions.
- Continually assess and revise the care plan, and participate in the multidisciplinary care plan as needed.
- Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Qualifications:
- A current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
