Behavior Therapist

InBloom Autism Services is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment to help children and families achieve their goals.

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work closely with our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design and implement individualized treatment plans for children with Autism. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics.

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
• Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, such as homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.
• Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and make necessary adjustments to the intervention plan when required.
• Behavior Reduction Techniques: Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.
• Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
• Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
• Professionalism: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
• Documentation: Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes in a timely manner.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with the BCBA, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.

• Early education, special education, childcare, or personal experience.
• Passion for working with children and helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, driver's license, insurance, and smartphone.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members.

Must be able to travel to our InBloom Center for duration of internship. Noise Level is moderate to loud.

Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
