About the Role

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing electrical/electromechanical and mechanical component systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Assess and troubleshoot issues during breakdowns
  • Safely operate motor vehicles and other mobile equipment
  • Identify and report hazardous conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance department and other manufacturing personnel
  • Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed
Requirements
  • 2 or more years of previous plant maintenance experience
  • Ability to weld and fabricate when needed
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical/electromechanical maintenance methods
  • Skilled in the application of methods used in the trade
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of safety rules
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license
Work Environment
  • Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls after normal working hours
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet production demands
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to lift up to 90 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, climb, and use arm and hand movements
  • Ability to work at heights on aerial lifts, stepladders, and/or extension ladders
