We are currently seeking a Level 2 Substance Abuse Counselor (CADCII) who will play a vital role in collaborating with both internal and external partners to achieve the objectives of our programs and the agency as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and collateral substance abuse services in group settings, adhering to program standards and utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Ensure compliance with the requirements set forth by relevant governing bodies.
- Support clients in their recovery journey by providing access to necessary resources.
- Facilitate substance abuse group sessions.
- Conduct individualized counseling sessions as required.
- Complete all necessary documentation promptly, in accordance with departmental and agency guidelines.
- Provide services to drug court participants and collaborate with local and state judicial systems as needed.
- Maintain professional credentials and fulfill all supervision requirements to uphold certification.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Possession of Level II Clinical Certification(s).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel within the designated service area.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience.
- CADC II Certification.
- Level II Clinical Certification(s) such as GACA/ADACBGA Certifications.
** Compensation will be determined based on a combination of qualifications, including experience and education. **
Standard work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as necessary. Hours may vary based on the needs of the individuals served.
