We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Therapy department.

About the Role:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including breathing treatments, nebulizer treatments, blood gas analysis, and ventilator setup and monitoring. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a two or four-year accredited respiratory care program
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire
  • Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner License for South Dakota

What We Offer:

Avera Sacred Heart Hospital offers a competitive salary range of $26.25-$39.50 per hour, depending on experience. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including free health insurance and a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a three-year commitment.

Work Schedule:

  • Days and nights – 12-hour shifts
  • Every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation
  • 72 hours/2 weeks
