We are eager to welcome dedicated Operating Room Technicians to our expanding neurosurgery program. In this role, you will encounter a diverse range of cases, including traumatic brain injuries, craniotomies, endoscopic transsphenoidal tumor resections, shunt placements, and more. We promote continuous learning and development and are committed to training new team members in the neurosurgery specialty, regardless of their career stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize instruments, equipment, medications, and supplies for each surgical case, adhering to physicians' preference cards.
- Establish and uphold a sterile environment and surgical aseptic techniques.
- Assist in the transportation and preparation of patients for surgical procedures, including shaving, positioning, and draping.
- Perform first scrub functions and assist in the majority of surgical procedures conducted at the facility.
- Support the surgeon and surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, medications, and supplies as required.
