Position Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a remote learning environment. As an SLP, you will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work part-time hours on a weekly basis.
  • Engage in developing and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate effectively with general education instructors, support personnel, and families to cultivate positive educational settings.
  • Monitor student progress and conduct assessments.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students in grades 4 through 8.
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs)
Qualifications:
  • Possess an active Speech Language Pathologist license in Virginia.
  • If residing outside Virginia, candidates must hold both a Virginia license and a license from their state of residence.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in educational settings and/or teletherapy is advantageous.
  • Completion of a virtual technology screening is required prior to the interview.
  • Professional liability insurance is necessary, as candidates will be classified as independent contractors.
Interview Process:
  • Initial 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy recruiter.
  • Followed by a 20-30 minute virtual interview with the school district.
  • Offers are typically extended within 24 hours post-interview.
