Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and disseminate a comprehensive operational strategy for the region, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
2. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to devise both strategic and tactical plans for managing field locations and districts.
3. Provide daily leadership and guidance to Market and Store Operations teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and core values to meet organizational goals.
4. Act as a customer advocate, ensuring that store operations are tailored to meet customer expectations while achieving business objectives.
5. Engage in the development of company-wide initiatives as directed by senior management.
6. Guarantee the consistent implementation of business strategies and initiatives, driving sales and profitability.
7. Innovate and develop new programs in partnership with the Corporate Store Operations team for regional or company-wide deployment.
8. Maintain effective communication with the region regarding sales performance, expenses, workforce planning, and customer service standards.
9. Establish performance benchmarks for the Regional Store Operations team, providing timely and constructive feedback to team members.
10. Oversee direct reports, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary measures, and succession planning.
11. Create and execute plans to cultivate high-performing leaders at the market and district levels, focusing on internal leadership development to attract and retain top talent.
12. Regularly assess, mentor, and develop field teams to ensure adherence to store presentation and service standards.
13. Conduct regular visits with Market Leaders in stores throughout the region.
14. Manage or participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple stores.
2. Strong financial acumen and retail management skills, including the ability to analyze financial statements, manage budgets, and control inventory.
3. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
4. Capability to build, lead, and motivate diverse teams while identifying and nurturing top talent.
5. Proficient conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
7. Strong presentation and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and effective delegation capabilities.
8. Willingness to travel frequently and for extended periods, including overnight trips, with a flexible schedule to accommodate travel needs.
9. A related Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
