Contract CT Technologist Opportunity

Salary Estimate:$90-$120 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Job

As a Contract CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality imaging procedures using computerized axial tomography (CAT) scanners. This includes positioning patients correctly, setting equipment controls, and monitoring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures
  • Position patients according to specific protocols to ensure accurate imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists to conduct imaging procedures and inject contrast media as needed
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label processed images accordingly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Eighteen months of prior experience as a CT Technologist in a healthcare setting
  • Current certification as an ARRT (CT) or ASRT
  • Licensure in most states
